Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director, Director of Site Operations or assigned Nurse Manager/Site Manager in Collaboration provides direct and indirect care to a specified group of patients in a variety of healthcare settings. TMS Technician work in collaboration with the physician(s), or other health care provider(s), other ambulatory support staff within the department, and with other disciplines, to deliver patient care.

This position administers in office noninvasive therapeutic treatments under the direction of treating physician. Focus will be assisting and monitoring patients while undergoing their treatments and daily progress reports submitted to physicians. This position performs all medical assistant functions in a medical setting for adult patients, especially elders. Responsible for telephone triage and assessment. Renders patient care within the scope of their training, including administering immunizations and allergy injections, obtains height, weight and blood pressure on all patients and documents appropriately into patient’s chart. Assists physicians with minor procedures and complete physicals. Prepares exam rooms and restocks supplies. Calls in prescription refill orders and coordinates patient care with other providers and/or facilities.

  • Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or Health Care Clinical professional;

  • TMS training preferred.

  • 2 or more year’s medical office or outpatient experience preferred.

Certification/License: BLS. required
